The D’Ieteren Gallery retraces the history of this venerable company through the different lines of business by 6 generations of D’Ieteren. These include in particular the manufacturing of horse-drawn vehicles, the construction of bodywork on bare chassis, the production, import and sale of cars, motorcycles, utility vehicles, the rental of vehicles and fitting of car glass, etc. Dozens of cars relating to the activities of D’Ieteren attest to the proud past of an uncommon automobile heritage. The history of the 20th century is illustrated by many Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, Bugatti, Seat, Mercedes… And although the Studebakers, DKWs and Hispano-Suizas are no longer to be found on our roads, they still have their rightful place in this very fine collection.
